Condition
The Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) checks the signal from the steering column.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00EE is stored if the resistance in any of the wiring circuits is lower than 10 ohms for longer than 10 seconds.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00EE can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.

- If the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) identifies that a steering column is installed, despite the control module being programmed that a steering column is not installed.

- The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
