Condition
The Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) checks the signal from the steering column.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00E8 is stored if the control module registers that the voltage in the signal cable is too high for longer than 10 seconds.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00E8 can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.
