Waste paper basket mounting, repairing
Background:
The mounting for the waste paper basket is now available as a replacement part. This Service Bulletin describes how to replace the mounting.

Waste paper basket mounting, replacing

Removing the waste paper basket
Remove:
- the waste paper basket from the bracket
- the bracket.

Removing the radio/carphone
Remove the radio/carphone see VADIS:

Removing the mounting
Drill out the pop rivets (1) holding the mounting. Use a 5 mm drill bit.
Remove the mounting.

Installing a new mounting
Install the new mounting using pop rivets.

Installing the bracket
Install:
- the short screw in the front hole (1) on the bracket
- the longer screw in the rear hole (2)
- a washer on the front screw (1)
- three washers on the rear screw (2).
Note! The washers must be positioned between the bracket and the dashboard.
Position the mounting. Tighten the screws a 1/4 turn.
Install the waste paper basket.
