Wash the area for the spoiler. Use a 50/50 mixture of isopropanol and water.
Wipe dry using a clean lint-free cloth.
Caution! In order for the spoiler to adhere, the surface must be clean and free of dust and grease.
Y0 = center of the hatch
M1 at Y0 = 43 mm
Hint: Measure Y0 using the center of the license plate or the holes for the license plate if it is not present.
Note! The Y0 measurement must be correct in order for the spoiler to be centered on the tailgate.
Mark the position of the spoiler using pieces of tape instead of drawing.
Measure the position of the ends of the spoiler using the dimensions given below.
Cut through the backing on the tape.
Loosen the backing approximately 100 mm in each direction, measured from the center of the spoiler.
Fold out the backing so that it can be removed as the spoiler is installed.
Note! Press the whole spoiler to ensure the tape is in good contact with the base.
M1 at both ends of the spoiler = 43 mm
M2 = 14 mm
The M3 measurement must be the same on the left and right-hand sides.
Check that the tape on the spoiler is in contact with the tailgate.
Note! To ensure optimal adhesion, do not wash the car for 72 hours.
