AUX Socket Rear Armrest, Replacing






AUX socket rear armrest, replacing

Preparatory work
Remove the rear seat cushion.
Disconnect the 12 volt and AUX socket connectors. They are located under the cushion.


Removing the panel for the 12volt socket




Fold down the rear seat armrest.
Remove the 4 plastic clips securing the panel for the 12 volt socket.
Feed the cable harnesses through the backrest cushion. Remove the panel.

Removing the AUX socket





Remove:
- the screw
- the striker plate for the AUX socket
- the AUX socket.

Installation

Installing the AUX socket





Install:
- the AUX socket
- the striker plate for the AUX socket
- the screw.


Installing the panel for the 12volt socket




Feed the cable harnesses through the hole in the armrest and through the backrest cushion.
Position the panel.
Install 4 plastic clips, P/N 941 0977.
Fold up the rear seat armrest.

Finishing
Connect the 12 volt and AUX socket connectors. They are located under the cushion.
Install the rear seat cushion.
