Checking the wire and handbrake contact




- Ignition off.
- Check function of brake fluid level guard. Measure the voltage between brake fluid level guard 1 and 2.
When fluid level is low the voltage should be 0 V, and when level is full the voltage should be 12 Driver information module (DIM), replacing Driver Information Module (DIM), Replacing V.
Check wires between combined instrument 5, and brake fluid level guard 1 for a short circuit to ground as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
