Damper motor temperature, replacing

Damper motor temperature passenger side, replacing

Removing the temperature damper motor, passenger side





Remove:
- the glove compartment. See Glove compartment, replacing Service and Repair
- the screws
- the motor
- the switch.

Installing the temperature damper motor, passenger side




Position the motor.
Turn the shaft on the motor so that the motor can be positioned.

Install:
- the screws
- the switch
- the glove compartment. See Glove compartment, replacing Service and Repair.
Carry out self-adjustment of the damper motor end positions. This is carried out via VIDA communication.

Damper motor temperature driver's side, replacing

Removing the temperature damper motor, driver's side





Remove:
- the soundproofing panel. See Soundproofing panel, replacing Soundproofing Panel, Replacing
- the switch from the motor.
Slacken off the screws.
Pull out the motor slightly.
Position the point of the screwdriver between the arms on the lever. Pry the arms away from the ball on the motor lever.
Remove the motor.

Installing the temperature damper motor, driver's side




Place the motor in position
Install the lever from the mechanism on the ball on the motor lever
Insert the tip of a screwdriver behind the lever on the mechanism and the tip of, for example, a pair of round-nosed pliers behind the lever from the damper motor. Press the ball into place on the mechanism.
Position the motor
Tighten it using the screws.

- the switch
- the soundproofing panel. See Soundproofing panel, replacing Soundproofing Panel, Replacing
Carry out self-adjustment of the damper motor end positions. This is carried out via VIDA communication.
