Exposing the cable harness

Remove:
- the center console. See Center console, replacing Center Console, Replacing.
- the radio. See Radio cassette player, replacing Radio Cassette Player, Replacing.
- the phone module. Service and Repair.
Unplug the connector at the SRS control module.

Repairing the cable harness

Note! If an airbag(s) has deployed, the cable harness must be checked. See Checking the collision cable Checking the Collision Cable.

Note! If an airbag(s) has deployed, the status of the reserve battery must be checked. See Checking the reserve battery Checking Backup Battery.





The following pins are for Volvo On Call:
Connector at SRS control module: Pin B28 (yellow/white cable).
Connector at keypad: Pin 17 (yellow/white cable).




Repair the cable harness as described in.

Note! The cable between the phone module (PHM) and SRS module (yellow/white) is joined in the cable harness and is routed to the central electronic module.
