Cable harness Volvo on Call Plus, repair

Exposing the cable harness

Remove:
- the center console. See Center console, replacing Center Console, Replacing
- the radio. See Radio cassette player, replacing Radio Cassette Player, Replacing
- the phone module (PHM). See Telephone module/-control module (PHM), changing Service and Repair
Disconnect the connector at the SRS (supplemental restraint system) control module.

Repairing cable harnesses

Note! If an airbag(s) has deployed, the cable harness must be checked. See Checking the collision cable Checking the Collision Cable.

Note! If an airbag(s) has deployed, the status of the reserve battery must be checked. See Checking the reserve battery Checking Backup Battery.





The following terminals are for Volvo On Call:
The connector at the SRS (supplemental restraint system) control module: Terminal B28 /yellow/white cable).
Connector at the keypad: Terminal 17 (Yellow/white cable).




Repair the cable harness.

Note! The cable between the car-phone and SRS (supplemental restraint system) control modules (yellow/white) is joined in the cable harness and is routed to the central electronic module.
