Checking the wires
Check the supply wire between the rear electronic module (REM) connector B20 ( D20) and the level sensor (ISM) connector 1 for a short circuit to voltage supply as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.

Hint: After the repair it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified.
- Ignition off.
- Connect the connectors, install the components, etc.
Open the boot lid and lock in the open position by pressing in the lock hinge.
Lock the car by remote control.
Wait for 25 seconds until the alarm is activated and sound the alarm by releasing the level sensor and turning it.
