Replacing the keypad unit
The fault has probably occurred as a result of an internal fault in the car-phone module. This type of fault means that the car-phone module must be replaced.
Caution! A new car-phone module is delivered without software. The car-phone module must be programmed in order to operate after replacement.

Select "Continue" when the fault has been remedied.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.
- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on
- Switch on the car-phone.
Make a call so that both the handset and the hands-free system are used. See the instruction manual.

Read off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
Check that the relevant diagnostic trouble code (DTC) has switched status from permanent to intermittent fault.
