Signal missing. Intermittent fault
Checking contact resistance, oxidation and wiring
- Ignition off.
Check handset connector D and car-phone module connector A for loose connections according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check the cable between car-phone handset D6 (terminal #37) and car-phone module terminal A14 (terminal #14) for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check the cable between car-phone module connector terminal A2 (terminal #2) and handset signal ground D5 (terminal #36) for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Try replacing the car-phone handset if no fault is found in the wiring.
Remedy as necessary.
