Checking and cleaning

Washer nozzle and non-return valve




If a washer nozzle leaks windshield washer fluid, the non-return valve must be checked before the washer nozzle is replaced.

Checking and cleaning
- Release the washer nozzle and the non-return valve. See Washer nozzle, replacing, B5244T5, B5254T2 Removal and Replacement.




- Remove the washer nozzle and the non-return valve.




- Carefully blow the washer nozzle and non-return valve clean in the direction of the flow.

Installation

Pressure valve and washer nozzle
Install in reverse order.
Wash and check whether the washer nozzle is still leaking windshield washer fluid. If the washer nozzle is still leaking windshield washer fluid, replace the pressure valve.

Hint: Check that that the hoses are not blocked.
