Removing the sealing ring from the oil pump





Use extractor 999 5069.

Installation
Installing a new sealing ring on the oil pump





Use drift 999 5117.

Note: Drift 9995117 has been modified according to the Workshop Guide.

Installing the torque converter





Lubricate the torque converter throat with ATF oil.

Note: Take care not to damage the oil pump during installation.

Make sure torque converter is as far into the transmission as possible. Check with a ruler.
The distance between the cover and retaining tabs must be approximately 14 mm.

Installing the transmission
Install the transmission according to Installing the gearbox.
