Lateral link, replacing

Removal




- remove the wheel
- install the tensioner according to . Set the rear suspension to the "normal position".




- remove the bracket for the brake pipe.





Remove
- both the screws for the lateral link
- the lateral link.

Installation




- install the lateral link. Use new screws
- tighten the screws. Tighten to 80 Nm
- Treat the screws using rustproofing agent (P/N 1381065-0).




- install the bracket for the brake pipe. Tighten to 25 Nm
- remove the tensioner
- install the wheel according to Installing wheels Service and Repair.

Finishing

Check/adjust the wheel alignment. See: Wheel alignment, checking / adjusting Service and Repair.
