Trouble-Shooting Information

Condition

- No diagnostic trouble codes are stored
- Fault is permanent

NOTE: If the solar sensor is covered, the climate control module (CCM) does not receive any signals regarding the solar intensity and there is therefore no temperature compensation. These types of error are not included in trouble-shooting.

Possible source

- Contact resistance, oxidation or loose contact in connector
- Signal wire has open circuit or short circuit to voltage supply/ground
- Ground connection has open circuit or short circuit to voltage supply
- Defective solar sensor.
