Checking clock in the information module

Checking the real time clock in Central Electronic Module (CEM)




- Ignition off.
Try to set the correct time for the clock in the information module. Wait a few minutes and check whether the clock is still showing the correct time.

No - Replacement of control unit

Replacement of control unit
A diagnostic trouble code indicates a fault in the central electronic module (CEM), which means that the control unit should be replaced.
Read the programmed customer parameters. Note the values!

Hint: After the repair it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified.








- Ignition off.
- Connect connectors, install components etc.
- Ignition on.
Check that the clock is working by setting the correct time and waiting a few minutes.
