Upholstery Outer Head Restraint Rear






Upholstery outer head restraint rear

Upholstery head restraint fixed, replace

Removing the upholstery from fixed head restraints




Press in the catches (1).
Fold the head restraint and push it to one side (2).
Unhook the head restraint.




Open the Velcro seam on the underside.
Detach the 2 Velcro strips.
Slide off the upholstery.

Installing the upholstery on fixed head restraints




Install the upholstery.

Install:
- the Velcro strips
- the Velcro seam.
Guide the head restraint rails into the correct channels.
Check that the catch engages.
Fold up the head restraint.

Note! Check that the seams are correctly positioned in relation to the frame.

Upholstery head restraint folding, replace

Removing the upholstery from folding head restraints




Fold down the head restraint.
Detach the Velcro seams on the rear seat backrest.

Remove:
- the 2 side pieces
- the 2 screws
- the cover.





Remove:
- the head restraint from the rear seat backrest
- the connector.




Open the Velcro seam on the underside.
Detach the 2 Velcro strips.
Slide off the upholstery.

Installing the upholstery on folding head restraints

Note! For tightening torques, see Tightening torque [1][2]Body and Frame.




Install the upholstery.

Install:
- the Velcro strips
- the Velcro seam
- the connector
- the head restraint in the rear seat backrest
- the 2 M6 screws. Tighten.




Install the cover.

Install:
- the Velcro seams on the rear seat backrests
- the 2 side pieces.
Fold up the head restraint.
Check the folding function of the head restraint by pressing the button on the dashboard when the ignition key is in position II.
