Sun Shade: Service and Repair

Sun visor / inner cover sun roof, replacement

Removing the sun visor / inner cover

Remove:
- the glass cover. See Glass sun roof, replacement Service and Repair
- the drainage channel. See Gutter sun roof, replacement Service and Repair.
Pull inner cover forwards.
Compress the spring.
Angle the hatch out through the roof opening.
Replace the sunroof.

Installing the sun visor / inner cover
Angle the inner cover in through the roof opening.
Compress the spring.
Slide in the inner cover.

Install:
- the drainage channel. See Gutter sun roof, replacement Service and Repair
- the glass cover. See Glass sun roof, replacement Service and Repair.

Removing the slide spring for the sun visor / inner cover





Remove:
- the inner hatch. See Removing the sun visor / inner cover
- the screw / spring.
Replace the spring.

Installing the spring slide sun visor / inner cover

Install:
- the screw / spring
- the inner hatch. See Installing the sun visor / inner cover.
