Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00F9 is stored if the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) receives diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information about seat belt buckle on Controller area network (CAN) from the rear electronic module (REM).
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00F9 can be diagnosed after 3 minutes in ignition positions I and II.
