Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00E5 is stored if the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) receives diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information on the Controller area network (CAN) from the upper electronic module (UEM).
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00E5 can be diagnosed in ignition position II.
