Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information REM-8D11

Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) REM-8D11 is stored if the rear electrical module (REM) registers that the signal for the high mounted stop lamp is too high, too low or missing.

Note! The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) may be stored if the incorrect roof spoiler is installed. Do not replace the spoiler if the stop lamp is working.

None.

- Short-circuit or open-circuit in the wiring for the high mounted stop lamp
- Defective stop lamp
- Incorrect roof spoiler installed.

Fault symptom[s]
- The stop lamp does not light when the brake pedal is depressed.
