Signal too high. Intermittent fault

Checking the wiring

Hint: The carphone module is connected to the GPS antenna via a connector in the right-hand A-post.




- Ignition off
Check the antenna cable between the carphone module connector G (gray) and connector E (terminal 1) in the right-hand A post. Check for a short-circuit to supply according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Try replacing the antenna if no fault is found in the antenna cable.
Remedy as necessary.
