Condition




The differential electronic module (DEM) checks the signal from the oil pressure sensor by comparing the signal with a calculated value.
When the engine speed (RPM) exceeds 500 rpm, the control module calculates the pressure theoretically. The calculated pressure is compared to the oil temperature sensor signal. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) DEM-007 is stored if the calculated temperature deviates from the calculated value. The control module interprets this as a fault.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) DEM-0007 can be diagnosed with the engine running and the engine speed (RPM) >500 rpm.
