Condition




The differential electronic module (DEM) checks whether the signal from the oil temperature sensor is within the permitted limits by comparing the signal with a calculated value.
When the engine speed (RPM) exceeds 500 rpm, the control module calculates the pressure theoretically. The calculated pressure is compared to the oil temperature sensor signal. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) DEM-0002 is stored if the signal from the oil temperature sensor corresponds to a temperature lower than 0 MPa or higher than 4 MPa. The control module interprets this as a fault.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) DEM-0002 can be diagnosed with the engine running and the engine speed (RPM) >500 rpm.
