SAS 0024 Steering Wheel Angle Sensor (Signal missing - permanent fault; Signal missing - intermittent fault)

Condition





If the Steering Wheel Angle Sensor (SAS) control unit registers that the signal from the steering wheel angle sensor is missing, diagnostic trouble code SAS-0024 is set.

Substitute value
- Stabilizing function disconnected.
- Anti-spin function blocked.

Possible Source
- The steering wheel angle sensor connector is not connected.
- Open circuit in the power supply to the steering wheel angle sensor.
- Open circuit in the signal wires.
- Internal fault in the steering wheel angle sensor control unit.
