Final drive, transferring components

Removal
Removing the final drive
Remove the final drive.

Removing the Active On-demand Coupling





Place the Active On-demand Coupling (AOC)/final drive over a stable container together with some supports.
Remove the 4 screws holding the Active On-demand Coupling.
Pull the Active On-demand Coupling (AOC) straight out from the final drive.
Place the coupling on a clean surface.

Checking the Active On-demand Coupling





Check carefully that the space for the Active On-demand Coupling (AOC) in the final drive housing is completely clean.
There must not be any lint from paper or cloths.





Check thoroughly that the Active On-demand Coupling is clean. Also check that the mating surface is not damaged.
Place the new O-ring on the Active On-demand Coupling.

Installation

Note: For tightening torques, see Specifications.

Installing the Active On-demand Coupling
Install the Active On-demand Coupling (AOC) on the new final drive.
Ensure that the gasket does not jump out of position.
Install the 4 M8 screws for the Active On-demand Coupling. Tighten.





Tighten the screws alternately and crosswise to light contact.

Installing the final drive
Install the final drive.
