Rear door bass speakers

Preparations





Note! Carry out the operation on both sides.

- Remove the clips (1) by pressing in the centre of the clips
- Remove the blind cover plug (2) and the screw from under the blind cover plug
- Disconnect the door panel by sliding the panel upwards and unhooking the top edge.




- Remove the connector (1) for the door controls
- Remove the wire (2) from the door opener (3). First bend up the catches
- Remove the panel
- Carefully remove the moisture inhibitor (4) at the front edge
- Remove the moisture inhibitor (5) covering the loudspeaker hole.

Applies to cars with existing loudspeakers
- Drill out the rivets on any existing loudspeakers. Use a -6 mm (1/4") drill bit
- Remove the loudspeakers and any rivet swarf from the rivet holes. Remove the rivet sections from the door if necessary.

Installing and finishing work




- Install the new loudspeaker. Screw the loudspeaker into place using the screws (1) and nuts (1) from the kit
- Secure the moisture inhibitor (2)
- Connect the connectors (3) to the loudspeaker and the module for the door controls
- Connect the cable (4) to the door opener (5)
- Reinstall the door panel.
