New customer or reactivation of Volvo on Call Plus
The following procedure applies both to activating for a new customer, re-activating an expired subscription or reactivating after component replacement.
Re-activation is required when "On Call Plus Deactivated" appears in the driver information module (DIM) display and the customer wishes to renew the subscription.
Activation for a new customer is required when a subscription has been cancelled due to a change of owner and the new owner wants a subscription to Volvo On Call Plus.
1. After replacement of the Phone module (PHM), call VOCP on telephone number 866-VOC-PLUS (866-862-7587) and press #1 to speak with a VOCP representative.
2. You will be asked to give the customer's name and/or VIN of the vehicle.
3. The representative will check the customer and ensure that the correct data is sent to the VOCP system.
4. VOCP will contact you within three hours and confirm your control module replacement and give you further information on how to complete activation.
In the event of a problem, which neither you or the representative from VOCP can solve, ask to speak to a superior at VOCP. He/she will be able to assist you further.
