Garage Door Opener Transmitter: Service and Repair

Remote controlled garage door opener (Homelink)

- Disconnect the sun visor from the mounting (1)
- Carefully bend the panel away (2)
- Remove the screws (3). Remove the sun visor and put it to one side. If the car is equipped with lighting in the sun visors, disconnect the connector for the lighting.

- Connect the connector for the new sun visor to the existing cable (1) at the hole inside the panel. If the car is equipped with lighting in the sun visors, connect the connector for the lighting
- Insert the excess wiring inside the panel
- Press up and screw the mounting into position
- Reinstall the panel. Reassemble the sun visor.
