Preparatory work

Ignition off




Ignition off.
Remove the cowl. See: Plenum chamber Service and Repair.

Note! The siren/float-operated switch is mounted on the right-hand side in left-hand drive cars, and on the left-hand side on right-hand drive cars.

Removal

Removing the siren/level sensor





Remove:
- 2 M6 nuts
- the connector
- the siren/level sensor together with the bracket.

Installation

Installing the siren/level sensor
Connect the connector.

Install:
- the siren/level sensor and the bracket
- the connector
- 2 M6 nuts
- the cowl. See: Plenum chamber Service and Repair.
