Checking the Wiring



Checking The Wiring







- Ignition off.
- The breakout box connected.

Check the communication cable CAN H between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #27 and engine control module (ECM) terminal #27. Check for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults (TCM-DF18). Check for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults (TCM-DF14). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults (TCM-DF13).

Check the communication cable CAN L between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #26 and engine control module (ECM) terminal #57. Check for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults (TCM-DF18). Check for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults (TCM-DF14). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults (TCM-DF16).

Remedy as necessary.
