Signal Too Low. Intermittent Fault



Intermittent Fault







Check control module and transmission connectors. Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults.

Check the wiring between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #2 and terminal #3 on the 8-pin transmission connector. Check the wiring between control module terminal #30 and transmission connector terminal #4. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults.

HINT: Check the solenoid SLT by measuring the resistance between terminals #3 and #4 on the transmission connector. The ohmmeter should be 5 - 5.6 Ohms at 20 degree C.

Remedy as necessary.
