Intermittent Fault

Check the wiring between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #2 and terminal #3 on the 8-pin transmission connector. Check the wiring between control module terminal #30 and terminal #4 on the 8-pin transmission connector. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults.

HINT: Check the solenoid SLT by measuring the resistance between terminals #3 and #4 on the transmission connector. The ohmmeter should be 5 - 6 Ohms at 20 degree C.

Remedy as necessary.
