Checking The Wiring







- Ignition off.
- The breakout box connected.
- 8-pin transmission connector disconnected.

Check the cable between transmission control module terminal (TCM) terminal #4 and terminal #5 on the 8-pin transmission connector (control module side). Check for an short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults.

Check the cable between control module #32 and terminal #6 on the 8-pin transmission connector (control module side). Check for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults.

Remedy as necessary.
