Checking Line Pressure Solenoid SLS
- Ignition off.
- Check the control module and automatic transmission connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults. Remedy if necessary.
- Reinstall the components, reconnect the connectors etc.
- Ignition on.
- Activate solenoid SLS.
Read off the current through the solenoid SLS circuit.
The current should oscillate between 0 and 1000 mA.

Does the current oscillate?
YES: Refer to Trouble Code Description. Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions
NO: Continue with Next Procedure. Refer to Checking Resistance.
