Signal Too Low. Intermittent Fault - I



Intermittent Fault







Check the transmission control module (TCM) and transmission connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults.

Check the transmission control module (TCM) terminal #4 and terminal #5 on the 8-pin transmission connector. Check the wiring between control module terminal #32 and terminal #6 on the 8-pin transmission connector. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults.

HINT: Check the solenoid SLS by measuring the resistance between #5 and #6 on the transmission connector. The ohmmeter should read 5 - 5.6 Ohms at 20 degree C.

Remedy as necessary.
