Checking The Wiring
- Ignition off.
- The breakout box connected.
- Disconnected 8-pin transmission connector.
Check the cable between control module terminal #4 and terminal #5 on the 8-pin transmission connector (control module side). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults.
Check the cable between control module #32 and terminal #6 on the 8-pin transmission connector (control module side). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults.
Check the wiring in the circuit for short-circuits to other cables in the circuit. Use the relevant Wiring Diagram.
Remedy as necessary.
