Checking The Wiring And Component
- Ignition off.
- Open the transmission control system.
Check the wiring between terminal #1on the light gray 8-pin transmission connector and solenoid SLU terminal #1.
Check the wiring between transmission connector terminal #2 and solenoid SLU terminal #2.
Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults.
Also check against the other cables in the circuit. Use the relevant wiring diagram.
Check solenoid SLU by measuring the resistance between terminals #1 and #2 on the connector. The resistance should be 5 - 5.6 Ohms at 20 degree C.
Replace the transmission control system if the resistance is incorrect.
