Checking The Wiring







- Ignition off.
- The breakout box connected.
- Disconnected the 8-pin transmission connector.

Check the cable between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #3 and terminal #1 on the 8-pin transmission connector (control module side). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults.

Check the cable between control module terminal #31 and terminal #2 on the 8-pin transmission connector (control module side). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults.

Also check against the other cables in the circuit. Use the relevant wiring diagram.

Remedy as necessary.
