Intermittent Fault
- Ignition off.
Check the control module and transmission input speed sensor connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults.
Check the power supply cable between control module terminal #11 and terminal #2 on the black 2-pin transmission connector. Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults.
Check the signal cable between control module terminal #12 and terminal #1 on the black 2-pin transmission connector (control module side). Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults.
Remedy as necessary.
