HINT: After repairs have been completed, they must be verified as follows to ensure that the fault has been eliminated:

- Ignition off.
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
- Go into scrolling values.

Read off the position of the throttle position (TP) sensor. Check that the throttle position (TP) sensor reads approximately 100 % open throttle.

NOTE: The kickdown switch should not be activated during the test, it should read OFF.

Is the value OK?

YES: Refer to Trouble Code Description. Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions
NO: Continue with Next Procedure. Fault-Tracing Information - Permanent Fault
