Checking The Function Of The Kickdown Switch







- Ignition on.
- Go into scrolling values.
- Read off the position of the kickdown switch.

The reading should only be ON if the accelerator pedal (AP) is depressed to the kickdown position For other accelerator pedal (AP) positions the reading should be OFF.

Are the correct values displayed?

YES: Continue with Next Procedure. Refer To Checking The Kickdown Switch (KD) And The Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Signal.
NO: Refer To Checking The Resistance Of The Kickdown Switch. Checking the Resistance of the Kickdown Switch
