Condition




The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the front right side impact sensor.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers a configuration fault in the signal cable for longer than 2.5 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on (12 V). In other words, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched from position 0 to positions I, II or III.

Possible source
- If the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) identifies that a front right side impact sensor is installed, despite the control module being programmed that a front right side impact sensor is not installed.
