Condition

Location Of Components:

The central electronic module (CEM) sends information via the CAN network about the permitted power consumption that the electrical power steering module (EPS) may consume.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored in the electrical power steering module (EPS) if the electrical power steering module (EPS) registers that the signal from the central electronic module (CEM) is incorrect.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.

Substitute value
- The last permitted power consumption is used by the electrical power steering module (EPS).

- Fault trace the central electronic module (CEM).
