Caution! Do not apply rust solvent spray or grease to the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) connector.
Check the resistance of the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) between terminals #1 and #2.
Check signal cable terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the signal cable between heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) terminal #2 and control module terminal #A49 (#A49). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Remedy as necessary.
