Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-6C20
Condition
The child-proof lock function disengages the rear inner door handles and deactivates the power windows in the rear doors. The function can be activated from the switch panel on the driver's door. An extra motor has been installed in the rear doors to disengage the inner door handles. The central electronic module (CEM) receives an indication of the status of the lock motors (locked/unlocked).
If the lock motor for the child-proof lock in the right-hand rear door could not lock at the first attempt, the central electronic module (CEM) transmits an additional lock command. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the lock motor is not in the locked position after this attempt.
