Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-000D is stored if the phone module (PHM) registers that there is a short-circuit to ground in the signal to the handset microphone.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-000D can be diagnosed with the ignition on (not key position 3) and when the battery voltage is 9-16 V.

- Short-circuit to ground in the wiring (MIC signal) between the handset and the control module.
