Replacing the component
The MD player has registered an internal fault.
If the fault is intermittent, it has been registered previously but is no longer present. Intermittent faults can be caused by interference at start up of the MD module (MP1) or may be a different type of fault which occurs on different occasions. The fault is evaluated depending on how it occurs. If the fault recurs, replace the MD player.
In the event of a permanent fault, replace the MD player.
Remedy as necessary.

- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Insert a MiniDisc and check that the MD player is working.

Is the MD player working?
