DTC TCM-012A





Condition
The driving section of the transmission is disengaged when certain conditions are met:
^ Stationary
^ Engine idling
^ Stop pedal depressed
^ Gear position D, 3 or 4.

The function decreases fuel consumption and vibration from the transmission when running the engine at idle speed.
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) TCM-012A is stored if the Transmission Control Module (TCM) registers that clutch C1 disengages incorrectly.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- Shift solenoid S1 has jammed in the OFF position
- Shift solenoid S2 has jammed in the ON position
- Solenoid SET has jammed in the OFF position
- Internal fault in the transmission
- Defective control module.

Fault symptom[s]
- General orange warning lamp lit
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) lit.
